Spring – it feels like an elusive season. The groundhog promised it was coming in six weeks. Designers are starting to show us what to expect with spring and summer looks for 2019. Don’t be surprised by the influence of times past. Fashion, like the weather, is cyclical.
Color: Spring/Summer beg for color! Start introducing these colors early via jackets or sweaters. It gives a welcome spark and livens up the more muted colors of winter. You can tone down the brightness by pairing it with beige, white or cream.
Neon: In all varieties
Brights and Saturated color: incorporate marigold yellow, reds, and blue.
Prints: tropical botanicals, color block, and polka dots are popular this season
Wraps: (dresses/blouses/skirts) and one shoulder/off the shoulder remain popular
These looks can take you from siesta to fiesta. All while keeping you cool and chic.
