Style Made Simple

The holiday season is in full swing.

In all of the excitement of gathering together with friends and family, we often neglect to ask the very important question of what am I going to wear? Instead of staring at your closet and waiting for something to jump out at you, wouldn’t it be a relief to know in advance what you are wearing and that you look polished and put together.

How do you do that? I have some creative and practical ideas for you. With these suggestions in mind, take a minute and head to your closet. See if you have a few of these things in your closet already. If there are enough items to build an outfit, terrific. If not, you still have time to strategically shop for what you need!

If you are attending a company party, you want to project an image that you are confident and put together. Think about the message your clothes are sending. Festive yet professional should be the theme. Consider mixing it up with a velvet blazer or a metallic skirt for some holiday flavor.

When the gathering is among your social set, have some fun with accessories. A bold earring or unexpected shoe. Perhaps a statement necklace or bracelet to add some flair and fun.

Be prepared in case the host has a no- shoe house and forgot to mention it. Plan to get a pedicure if you’re wearing pretty party shoes with no socks. Or if you’re wearing boots with socks, make sure you’re sporting a pair that you are happy to show off.

Let these holidays leave you with great memories. If your closet is full, yet leaves you feeling empty, please do not panic and cancel your plans. Take a deep breath. I am here to help. Call me. I love to help you feel beautiful and stylish. Together we will have fun creating the perfect look for you.
