For many of my clients, just looking in their closet and trying to decide what to wear is stressful. Take Diane…
“I consider myself an independent and productive person who makes solid decisions and generally gets it all done both professionally and personally like most women, except in one major area…I become paralyzed when it comes to all aspects of fashion…what to buy, what to wear, and how to organize that closet, so I can think about it all as little as possible.
It is a serious blockage I have that interferes with the start of each day, and on that rare occasion I may feel somewhat confident, it truly helps my day start off with a lift! Sadly, as mentioned, that is not my norm, yet I need it to be as this is getting old!
Step in Sue Melville!
The easiest part of letting Sue consult you on your wardrobe is she is fun, talented, and so easy to work with. My intimidation is my worst enemy and it literally melted away, replaced unconsciously with fun and exploration beginning with the ideas she shared with me. Her personality is warm and so approachable.
We started our shopping in the store that had the styles that I could see myself in and upon entering, it was if she was part of the staff. She mastered the store and started grabbing at pieces that I mentioned I liked and then worked off those, to expand and inspire my horizons. Wisely, she assessed and started off with what I felt was “me.” This then developed some confidence so that when she started to sneak in pieces that were different than what I would have selected, I was eager and open to try them. She is passionate, knowledgeable and has a knack for letting your own instincts shine and then enhances them to make you feel terrific.
After we finished, the staff had grown to love her, as we all had so much fun. Then they really laughed after I admitted to them that I felt like Julia Roberts in a few scenes of” Pretty Women.” Early on in the store, I had related to that scene where Kit gets intimidated in a clothing shop, feeling like she does not deserve to be there and will never get herself together. Thankfully later, for me again, it then became the scene where she had everyone all about her, confirming that all the new clothes she tried were perfect and she would be so excited wearing them out and about!
Sue is an educated professional who is passionate and serious about fashion, value, and providing her clients with a style they are comfortable in. Then woven in among her charm and energy, she magically expands that style beyond what you could ever have imagined for yourself. It will end as a day of fun, increased confidence, and a wardrobe you can start each day with on a great note!”
